Meet Andrea.
Seasoned Education and Business Professional…
Andrea most recently served Oregon’s largest private university, George Fox, in several capacities, including Provost and Distinguished Professor of Marketing. She was previously Dean and Professor of Marketing at California Baptist University’s Dr. Robert K. Jabs School of Business and was a tenured marketing faculty member at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, an MBA from Emory University, and a PhD in marketing from the University of South Florida. Her research interests lie at the intersection of conscience, culture, and consumption. Her business background includes national advertising agency experience, working with NBC during the 1996 Olympics, and business analysis with Honeywell, Inc., including mergers and acquisitions.
Life-long Learner and Servant Leader…
Andrea is a Senior Fellow at the Murdock Charitable Trust, a long-serving member of the Wheaton College Board of Trustees and actively serves a worship leader and pianist at her local church. She completed the Chicago marathon many years ago and still counts that as one of her proudest moments.
Having a love for learning from the earliest age, she would line up her dolls, stuffed toys, and little brother and “teach” them. Hers is a life-long commitment to learning and to shepherding those who wish to cultivate the innate curiosity in themselves and others.
Inspiring Public Spokesperson…
Dr. Scott is an energetic and engaging communicator committed to nurturing faith-based engagement and influence in conversations that matter. Accordingly, she champions innovative and transformative approaches to human flourishing in all sectors—including those beyond education. Her audiences leave refreshed with provocative insights as well as practical tools.
